Mull of Galloway Lighthouse
Scotland

Just metres from the most southerly point in Scotland is the Mull of Galloway lighthouse, which is one of Robert Stevenson's many creations. If you look carefully around midway between the lighthouse and the sun you can just see the North coast of the Isle of Man, which in June hosts the famous TT motorcycle races. Some powerful tides fight each other throughout the day here, you can see the tides meeting very clearly here. Perhaps not the best place for a swim!
