This was the finish line for the Niseko Hanazono Hill Climb.

Looked pretty tough and the race was basically a sprint from Kutchan up to the Goshiki Onsen which is ALL uphill.

The pano doesn't really do justice to the pained expressions flying by.

Unfortunately the weather wasn't great otherwise you could see that this finish line / road is in between Mt Annupuri and Mt Iwaonupuri... next year maybe !
