Quite a surrealistic piece of architecture. Built 1883 to commemorate the departure of the Bavarian Prince Otto, who was elected as the King of Greece just a year before. The King Ludwig I, Otto's father, choosed ht design by architect Daniel Ohlmüller, who suggested the neo-Gothic style for the chapel. Count August of Seinsheim painted the altarpiece actually depicting the royal family.
