Speaking of Prehistory is no easy task, hundreds of thousands of years of mankind's presence makes it a very long and full of speculation. There is no doubt that the coastline of Marbella, Sierra Blanca behind, attracted the interest of these first settlers. Their abundant resources, numerous caves and shelters, if Palominas, Nagüeles or Puerto Rico, became the stage for the development and functioning of the human species, in the length of time it has occupied since the Lower Paleolithic to the Neolithic. These sites provide specific archaeological data, but insufficient to understand the adaptation of various groups in this environment and use cavities were giving to the cultural and climatic variations.
