Southern Norway Trotting Park (horserace) is a racecourse just outside Kristiansand. The course is situated right on the E18 and Kristiansand Zoo next door. It was opened on 16 July1988 with over 30 000 visitors. In one of the big races were the sugarcane Hanover who appeared before the horse of Norway. Storelan with driver Dagfinn Aarum won the first totalisatorløpet on Norway's southern Trotting Park.
The course has 34 race days per year (2011) and summer trotted in the middle of July is the annual culmination including Norway Cup for the coldbloods horses in both theopen class for mares. In August there is a five V75-runs which include Arnt Paulsens Minneløp and Kristen T. Gundersen æresløp run and Sørlandets treårscup for bothraces on the program.
