Scotland

The central pillars within the church date back over 900 years and the vaulted ceiling was added in the late 14th century. As well as it's age, St. Giles Cathedral attracts visitors for the historic stained glass windows, which are reputed among the best in Scotland. Some of these windows date from the 9th century.
