Sulzfeld am Main - Upper gatehouse
Franconie

The upper gate is part of the completely preserved weir system of the picturesque village Sulzfeld am Main. The city wall has a length of 900 m with three gates and 18 towers. It was built in the 15th century and renovated under Julius Echter von Mespelbrunn at the end of the 16th century. The wine village Sulzfeld am Main is located between Kitzingen and Ochsenfurt.
