In the course of the Szőreg battle 1849. August on 5. concentrated at Szeged Hungarian armies suffered a defeat in the city's area Dembiński Haynau guided it under a Polish general's command cs kir. from teams. The defeat was serious despite the relatively little losses, because the teams' order of battle and his morals got disturbed in the course of the fight and the withdrawal following it.
