The bridge to Strumble Head Lighthouse, Pembrokeshire
Wales

Strumble Head Lighthouse is located on Ynysmeicl (St. Michael's Island), an islet to the west of Fishguard accessed by a footbridge. It was built by Trinity House in 1908 to guard the treacherous stretch of coast for sea traffic between Ireland and Fishguard Harbour. It became fully automated in 1980.
