The Click Mill, Harray, Orkney
Scotland

The Click Mill is Orkney's only example of the simplest type of water mill where a horizontal paddle wheel is directly connected to the mill stone. The name Click Mill comes from the noise made by the peg on the upper millstone as it knocks the grain spout every revolution to keepp the grain flowing into the millstones.
