The General Sherman Tree, Sequoia National Park, California USA

The General Sherman Tree is the largest known tree in the world by volume. It is 275 feet tall, has a 103 foot circumference and a 36 foot diameter at its base. It is as tall as a 28 story building and is estimated to be from 1600 to 2200 years old. It is one of the most visited sites in the beautiful Sequoia National Park in central California.
