The unique sample of its kind, the tomb with a pyramidal roof, which is located in Aydıncık District of Mersin, is on the northeast part of the antique city. It is about 50 km away from the Mersin-Antalya highway. It is locally known as “Dört Ayak” (literally: statant).
The square monument consists of a lower chamber in the form of a rectangular tower, a middle chamber surrounded by arches on all sides on top of it, and a pyramidal roof. The structure, which is believed to have belonged to one of the notable persons of the city, is dated to the beginning of the 2nd century AD or the beginning of the 3rd century AD.
