On April 12, 1961 at 09 hours 07 minutes Moscow time from the cosmodrome near the Baikonur station a rocket with the Vostok spacecraft-satellite flown by pilot-cosmonaut Yuri Alexeyevich Gagarin was launched.
After the touch down the Vostok spacecraft-satellite descent vehicle was delivered to the manufacturing plant.
The Vostok spacecraft-satellite descent vehicle has been permanently kept in the Museum hall of NPO Energia named after Academician S.P.Korolev.
All structural elements, devices and units of the Vostok spacecraft-satellite descent vehicle (works index "Vostok-3 KA", N3) are original (except for the interior lining reconstructed because of decrepitude).
