Saddle Mountain in Arizona's Saddle Mountain Wilderness is named after the large, U-shaped valley between Saddle Mountain and Grand Canyon National Park's Kaibab Plateau. The low point of the saddle between the two edifices is about 800' (244m).
This panorama looks down into a portion of the saddle about a half mile north of where the saddle breaks into Nankoweap Canyon.
