The entirety of Crater Lake cannot be seen from atop the cinder cone without walking all the way around the rim. To get photos one must stop at several places along the rim trail. This panorama was taken on the east edge of the rim and shows the blue lake waters towards east-northeast.
Crater Lake is a snow melt filled volcano crater in south central Oregon, USA. The water is very pure and awsomely blue. It is the deepest Lake in the USA at 1946 feet.
