Wolframs-Eschenbach - Magnificent avenue
Franconie

After a city fire around 1410, the main street in Wolframs-Eschenbach was transformed into a boulevard. Mighty gabled houses with rich half-timbering are staggered from the upper gate tower. The lamb tavern follows the Kocherhaus. At the neighboring town forge, which was also built in 1410, the newer technology of multi-storey construction is already evident. The grape tavern and the Lexlhaus also essentially belong to the same period.
