Situated on the rugged northern coast of St. David's Peninsula in Pembrokeshire, Abereiddy Bay is a small inlet of dark grey slate with a black sand and shingle beach. The area is famed for its ‘Blue Lagoon’. The abandoned coastal slate quarry was deliberately breached to form a sheltered harbour for fishing boats and is now popular destination for outdoor and adventure activities.
