The slope on this side of the Ski Lift is often used as training slope for skiing clubs. Espcially the Skiclub Speyer and the Palatine Skiing Association is using it for their Race Camps.

It is possible to set up two paralell Giant Slalom Courses on this slope. Thus getting a very efficient training and due to the short time of queing at the Ski lift a huge number of traings runs are possible.

The Skiclub Speyer owns a nice Ski Lodge in Aftersteg. The Ski Club bought the Lodge in 1969 and ist constantly with lots of the members renovating and working for the Ski Lodge. The Ski Lodge is the right place for the tired Racers after a day fot training runs to have a good meal, relax and get a quiet sleep.

Well known is the Carnacval Race Camp for the legandary evening on Carnival Monday for the Race Team, the children and also the Parents and adults with the hightlight of the even more legendary Charladies Hockey or Cleaning Ladies Hockey.

Lodging in the Ski Lodge of the Skiclub Speyer is possible.
