Arapena Meru (Yuruani Fall), Great Savannah, Canaima National Park (Venezuela)

Close to the Community of St. Francis of Yuruaní, in the eastern sector of Canaima National Park (in the heart of La Gran Sabana) and formed by the Yuruaní  river down from Iwarkárima-Tupu is the Arapena Meru (or Yuruaní fall), one of the most important waterfalls of this river.

The water about five meters high falls as a curtain, which makes it even more interesting because you can explore the space that forms behind the waterfall. Additionally, the enormous flow of the river allows the practice of various river sports, plus what in the top of the waterfall is a turbulent water and strong current a few feet down are many quiet places to bathe.
