A view of Block 14 of the Manzanar War Relocation Center near Lone Pine, California, one of ten Japanese-American internment camps during World War 2 that housed over 11,000 people at its peak. These are reconstructed barracks at the site amidst what was formerly 36 blocks. In the backdrop is the 14,375 foot Mt. Williamson as well as the rest of the high Sierra Nevada.
