Bothwell Castle South East Tower

Bothwell Castle is the largest and finest 13th Century stone castle in Scotland and was constructed by the ancestors of Clan Murray to guard a strategic crossing point of the River Clyde. This castle was much fought over during the Wars of Indpendence. This is a view from the South East Tower.
