Buchen is a town in the Neckar-Odenwald district in northern Baden-Württemberg. The town church in the town center was rebuilt in the years 1503-1507 into a three-aisled late Gothic church with a staggered hall. 1958-61 the church was enlarged. The modern apse is dominated by the imposing choir window by Emil Wachter with the "Sanctus" motif.
