View overlooking Lake Ampitabe. Locateded near Ambodivona, Madagascar, the “Bushhouse” Lodge can only be reached by boat, helicopter, train (then connect via boat) or 4×4 wheel drive. This view overlooks the lake that is part of the Pangalanes Canal.  The Pangalanese is a chain of lakes and lagoons that parallel the coast of the Indian Ocean and is separated by barrier islands.  They connect to a man made channel system constructed in colonial times. It is 600km long.
