Carn Brea Castle
England

Carn Brea is a granite tor between Redruth and Camborne in Cornwall, UK. Near the eastern end of the tor, Carn Brea Castle is perched on a large piles of granite blocks. In the iron age, Carn Brea was a hill fort, but Carn Brea Castle has never been a fortification and today, it is a restaurant. This panorama was taken from the small grass area to the north west of the restaurant, which overlooks Redruth and Pool. The Basset monument sits on the highest point of the tor and is visible through a gateway to the west. The image was stitched using Hugin.
