Church of Sant Joan, Boí (Spain)
The Romanesque church of Sant Joan de Boí is in the village of Boí, center of the valley of the same name, belonging to the municipality of La Vall de Boi, and within the old district of Barruera, in Alta Ribagorça. It is contemporary of the other churches in the environment and probably made by the same master builders. It is located west of the town center Boí perfectly reachable because it is the first thing is to get in this town. It belongs to the group of Romanesque churches of the Boi Valley declared a National Cultural and Heritage Site by UNESCO. In the same square is the stop of taxis that are transporting tourists to the interior of the National Park of Aigüestortes and Sant Maurici.
