Church of Santa Maria, Cóll (Spain)
The parish church of Santa Maria, is in the village of Cóll, in the municipality of La Vall de Boí, the southern boundary of this valley. It belonged to the former municipality of Barruera. Currently, part of the cemetery. It is not certain that belonged to a former Benedictine monastery, but we know that was related to Santa Maria d'Alaó. It is a XII century Romanesque church built with stones worked well. It was consecrated in 1110. In the shade, in a corner of the cemetery, my wife watching this beautiful Romanesque church.
