Crinan Canal , Argyll , Scotland

Crinan is a small a small village found on the east of Argyll approx 7 miles north-west of Lochgilphead .

The canal here links the Sound of Jura at Crinan to Ardrishaig on Loch Fyne .

Crinan is a very popular destination for visitors and to owners of small yachts and boats . It is also home to the puffer The Vital Spark for most of the year .

Crinan also hosts an annual boat festival during the summer months .
