Gwinn Cave is a lava tube north of Shoshone, Idaho. It has a breakdown entrance with a temporary ladder leading down. The lower end near this shot is about 500 or so feet to another opening of sunlight, though it may be impassable to crawl out of. The cave has minimal vandalism & this section has easy sandy floors.

There is a possibility it was derived from a Native American phrase. Idaho is very mountainous and is a popular outing destination of the outdoorsman.
