The fortress in Mezitli District, Mersin, is located in Fındıkpınar Plateau, about 50 km to the northwest of Mersin. Walls are bonded out of rocks and bricks on the bedrock. There is a rock tower in the middle of the circular place in the east and a small circular bastion in the north. Center of the rock in the north, which is surrounded by rooms and dissimilar to the towers in the east and south, looks like the bedrock. On the north of this tower, there stands a vertical wall made on the bedrock. This probably was the entrance to the inner court. The garrison fortress, which has a very complex structure, is dated to the Middle Age.
