Gigapixel view from the summit of Fox Mountain (elev. 6,392') near Adin, California.  Overlooking the Big Valley, one gets sweeping views of Mt. Lassen & Mt. Shasta as well as the Warner Mountains to the northeast & the vast assortment of low mountains comprising the Modoc-Lassen Plateau.  To the south, the true summit is visible, being only two feet higher.  A fire lookout adorned this summit, though it long been removed.  The entire road leading up to this location has become overgrown & close to impassable.
