The church has an heptagonal plan and is made up of 7 main towers to which are added the lower bodies of the chapels which also act as skylights. Inside, the ceiling has a pyramidal shape. The face of Christ was reproduced on the wall of the apse. The design of the architect Mario Botta has kept the old smokestack of the steelworks wrapped in a steel spiral.
