Inside the ruined Broch of Borwick, Orkney

The ruined Broch of Borwick is located atop an eroding headland on the west coast of Orkney mainland, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. It is thought to be a defensive dwelling dating from the Iron Age. Such buildings are only found in Scotland and its outlying islands.
