King Mindaugas monument

King Mindaugas monument was created to mark the 750 years anniversary of Mindaugas coronation. It was unveiled on the 6th of July, 2003. The sculptor of monument, Regimantas Midvikis, worked together with architects on the concept of monument. The monument is 4 and a half meter high and portray the king, sitting in his throne and holding the royal regalia - scepter and the sphere with the cross on it.
