Lauterbach

The port city Lauterbach is idyllically located in Rügen-bay opposite the island Vilm, which is a nature reserve. Already in the mid-1800s represented this island an important base for kustfiskerier Greifswald Bay. Even today, the fishermen daily ashore with fresh fish from the bays. With its 300 moorings during the summer belongs to the modern "Marine Lauterbach" one of Rügen's most convenient ports. Architecturally interesting floating house offers extra accommodation. In addition, comprehensive boat service at hand. "Räucherschiff Berta" and numerous other inns are ready with delicious meals for hungry sailors. A yacht rental company in the port also offers sailing lessons and equipment
