Marutswa Forest
South Africa

Marutswa Forest near the town of Bulwer is a top notch birding spot. Located within an area formerly utilised for logging, a network of walkways, jetties and towers provide birders with unique views of the different levels of this indigenous forest. Facilitiies include hiking trails and picnic sites as well as a local craft store. Wildlife in the forest include small antelope like bushbuck and reedbuck, and a wide variety of birdlife including the rare Cape Parrot.
