Medersa de Merinides - Salé

Next to large mosque in Salé is situated small but one of the most beautiful and oldest madrasah in Morocco. It was built in the 14 th century under the dynasty of Mérinides. Around the main square with a fountain are ceramic tiled columns. Overhead the walls are covered with intricately carved plasterworks and terminated with carved cedar ceiling. It's an amazing place where you can find peace, the play of light and many beautiful details. Certainly is worth to visit this place.
