The Chapel of St Aquilino is part of the Basilica of Saint Lorenzo, a great paleochristian basilica, whose most antique parts (4th century) are in large portion still preserved. The Chapel of St Aquilino originally, before being connected to St Lorenzo, was a small separate church, built in 5th century. In this 360photo is the atrium to the Chapel with some rests of paleochristian mosaics representing important persons of the Bible. The fresco with the crucifix, on the top of front wall, dates back to 13th century and is not finished.
Italy’s and perhaps the world’s capital of fashion and design, Milano is home to the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele, which is possibly the world’s oldest shopping mall. The city is currently undergoing an architectural renaissance, which will culminate in a new skyline for the Expo 2015, which will be hosted in Milano. Visitors can take advantage of an extensive public transportation system, which includes metro, buses, trolleys and trams.
