In 1539 the water mill burnt down, in 1632 rebuilding commenced. At the end of the 18th century it was finally torn down. In 2013 this monument, with 12 Bentheimer sandstones referring to (water and wind) mills in Oldenzaal, was erected. Photo's taken on November 29, 2014.
