The sculpture of the Muse Erato, the muse of love and erotic poetry, was designed by academic sculptor and painter Irena Brunec-Tébi and made entirely of bronze in a foundry in Budapest, Hungary. The  statue was set in the context of the »european capital of culture« (as Maribor's partner town) on the Square of culture in Murska Sobota on 16h November 2012.
