The place Masséna is a big place of Nice, located in the centre of the city.
At the origin It was two places: the place Charles-Albert, semicircular and of neoclassical style, constructed in 1820-1830 next to Vieux-Nice, and place Masséna itself, on the other side of the Paillon, accomplished in 1840-1852 by Joseph Vernier and of XVIIIth century style.
