Organ Pipes Rock Formation
Victoria

The Organ Pipes National Park is a small park of 152ha 23 kilometres north-west of Melbourne covering a deep gorge of Jackson Creek on the Keilor planes. The Organ Pipes are basalt columns formed by lava 1 million years ago, other rock features include Roesette Rock, a radial array of basalt columns and sedimentary rocks with fossils laid down under the sea about 400 million years ago.
