The Church of Our Lady of Angels was built in 1855 and is located on Dumas Street in old White Quarter of Pondicherry. The Church is famous for a painting of our Lady of the Assumption gifted by Napoleon III. Nowadays it is also a popular location for Tamil film shoots.
