Plaza de LLerena, Iglesia de la Granada

Comarca de la Campiña, situada al sureste de la provincia de Badajoz, junto a Sierra Morena.  Cuenta con fértiles tierras de pastos y cereales.

Esta favorable situación económica tuvo su reflejo en el siglo XVI, al convertirse Llerena en uno de los máximos exponentes artísticos de Extremadura.
Declarada Conjunto Histórico-Artístico, remonta sus orígenes a tiempos pasados, como lo muestra el lema de su escudo: "Muy Noble, Muy Leal y Antigua".
