Here are a group of cheerful Polish painters. Just a bit early there had been a sudden downpour and they had been told to take a break until things on the building site were completely dry. (The building is the tall one you can see behind them and above the fly-over). The place is Ilford in the London Borough of Redbridge. It is on the Eastern edge of London bordering the County of Essex. Until fairly recently Ilford was in Essex and in the countryside, but today, with exception of quite a few parks, it is definately urban.
