On 31 August 1939 was the target of a transmitter Gliwice sham attack. Hitler said in his speech [2] 1 September 1939 but not specifically about it, but generally of 14 border incidents that had occurred at night [3]. created between March and July 1944 in Gliwice, four sub-camps of Auschwitz I.
