The Reichenau Mission near Underberg was founded in 1886 by Trappist Monks.

The main church building is still in regular use and boasts some unique and intricate artwork and stained glass windows. The wooden ceiling is particularly impressive.

A number of buildings on the compound are currently undergoing restoration.
