This is an old gothic church, one of the most important in Palma de Mallorca, dated on the last XIIIth century. Only the bell tower is made on the XIXth century. The square is placed just behind the Town Council being a popular place to spend some time on a coffee-bar and it's an usual point to begin a visit to the old city.
