Taken February 4th atop a dorm at the Institute of Buddhist Dialects; Sarah Campus, in the foothills south of Dharamsala, India. After a dreary, rainy day, the clouds began to part over the foothills only to remain lingering over the Himalayas. As the sun set the remaining mist over the mountains created a double rainbow spanning the majority of the range. Once burned off the departing mist gave way to thick snowy cloud cover. The orange glow of the sun lit the mountains on fire. The transition was stunning.
