Schwenninger Moos

Here, in the Schwenninger Moos, is the source of the Neckar river, which flows into the Rhine after 362 km near Mannheim. It is also the European watershed of the Rhine and the Danube. The water of this moor flows to the southwest, to the Marbacher Talbach, to the Brigach, over the Danube into the Black Sea - to the north, from the Neckar source to the Rhine into the North Sea.
