Seaford Beach

The shoreline from Seaford Head to the beach and beyond to Newhaven in the far distance.  This beach is also the location of Martello Tower no. 74 which is now a Musuem, the Towers were constructed in 1803 as a defence against Napoleon, 103 towers were planned to be built, but this one was an after thought when it was realised that there was no defence for Newhaven.
